Wow – it feels like ages ago. Let's see, I attended Fresh/Soph at Lemont HS and moved end of Soph year to Carol Steam graduating at Glenbard West HS. I wish I never had to make that move, but life isn't always fair. I went from a very rocky home life to living with my dad which turned out to be my lifesaver. In 98 we moved to San Diego, CA where I've never seen the ocean so big or the sun so bright. I have not only established a real ‘home' here, I found the inner peace I so longed for. Though I do remember Lemont HS very fondly and all the great people I met and had classes with. Lisa, Erin, Katrina, those Kopen twins who always made me laugh. Among so many others I hate not to forget…..

Presently, I am building my career in Marketing/Communications, going back to school for my BA degree and maintaining a family of my own. My husband whom I met in 2000 and our beautiful new son – Cash Aiden born Feb 2007 – are the center of my world. Being a mother is beyond words and I honestly don't think life could get any better than the present moment. But I'm hopeful of the best years still to come as I approach my 30's gaining more wisdom and more experiences. California is my serenity, my home – and I hope it will be for my son as he grows up one day. I'm lucky to have my dad and sister out here but do visit my family back home in IL often. I've been a lost girl on the run for so long but now finally having found my nitch and place in this world, it feels amazing!
